School Psychologist in Midland, NC
Make a meaningful impact supporting students’ growth and mental health as a contracted school psychologist for the upcoming academic year. This opportunity offers the chance to work PreK–12 across multiple campuses, providing crucial psychological services in a collaborative, onsite setting.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid, active North Carolina Department of Public Instruction (NCDPI) School Psychologist license (please have documentation ready)
- Familiarity and working knowledge of ECATS (Education Casework Application and Tracking System)
- Experience working with PreK–12 caseloads, ideally in a school setting
- Strong skills in consultation, counseling, and crisis intervention
- Comfort participating in multidisciplinary teams, collaborating with staff and families
- Ability to conduct psychoeducational evaluations and facilitate conferences with parents
Primary Responsibilities:
- Consult with school staff, administrators, and families to support student learning and behavior
- Deliver counseling services to students and respond to crises as needed
- Lead and participate in parent conferences, providing support and guidance
- Perform psychoeducational evaluations for students suspected of having disabilities
- Assist with addressing the mental health needs of students across grade levels
- Provide district-level staff training and participate on collaborative teams
- Manage a diverse PreK–12 caseload across various district campuses
- Fulfill other psychology-related duties assigned by the supervisor
Position Details:
- Contract assignment, full-time schedule (37.5 hours/week) for the 2026–2027 school year
- Work will be onsite only, with travel to multiple campuses (mileage not reimbursed)
- Interview virtually via Microsoft Teams
