Key Qualifications:

  • Valid, active North Carolina Department of Public Instruction (NCDPI) School Psychologist license (please have documentation ready)
  • Familiarity and working knowledge of ECATS (Education Casework Application and Tracking System)
  • Experience working with PreK–12 caseloads, ideally in a school setting
  • Strong skills in consultation, counseling, and crisis intervention
  • Comfort participating in multidisciplinary teams, collaborating with staff and families
  • Ability to conduct psychoeducational evaluations and facilitate conferences with parents

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Consult with school staff, administrators, and families to support student learning and behavior
  • Deliver counseling services to students and respond to crises as needed
  • Lead and participate in parent conferences, providing support and guidance
  • Perform psychoeducational evaluations for students suspected of having disabilities
  • Assist with addressing the mental health needs of students across grade levels
  • Provide district-level staff training and participate on collaborative teams
  • Manage a diverse PreK–12 caseload across various district campuses
  • Fulfill other psychology-related duties assigned by the supervisor

Position Details:

  • Contract assignment, full-time schedule (37.5 hours/week) for the 2026–2027 school year
  • Work will be onsite only, with travel to multiple campuses (mileage not reimbursed)
  • Interview virtually via Microsoft Teams
