Key Qualifications:

  • Active NCDPI School Psychologist licensure (must be current and verified)
  • Experience utilizing ECATS, with proficiency in navigating student records and interventions
  • Previous school-based experience, ideally serving a PreK-12 caseload
  • Strong consultation, counseling, and crisis response skills
  • Ability to lead psychoeducational evaluations and collaborate with staff, students, and families
  • Effective communication for conferences with parents and staff training
  • Flexibility and a collaborative approach to working within multi-disciplinary district-level teams

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with educators, school staff, and families to support student mental health and learning
  • Conduct psychoeducational assessments for students suspected of disabilities, ensuring proper documentation and follow-up
  • Facilitate staff development through targeted training sessions
  • Hold parent conferences to discuss student performance, needs, and interventions
  • Participate actively in crisis response and intervention within the school setting
  • Contribute as a member of district-wide multidisciplinary teams to enhance student supports
  • Fulfill additional duties as assigned by the supervisor

Additional Details:

  • Full-time, onsite position (37.5 hours/week) across district campuses
