Key Qualifications:

  • Active and valid Texas School Psychologist credential/licensure (license documentation required upon submission)
  • Prior in-school or district-based experience as a School Psychologist
  • Availability for full-time, onsite work (37.5 hours per week); hybrid flexibility considered for report writing only
  • Ability to provide a redacted report sample as part of the application
  • Secured, reliable transportation for daily commute
  • Willingness and ability to complete required district fingerprinting within the first three days of contract signing

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments in accordance with district guidelines
  • Collaborate closely with educators, support staff, and families to foster students’ emotional, cognitive, and behavioral development
  • Provide evidence-based counseling and targeted interventions
  • Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and behavior plans
  • Accurately maintain student records and prepare thorough evaluation reports
  • Participate in team meetings, professional development, and compliance activities as required
