Registered Behavior Technician in Blue Springs, MO

This contract position runs through the end of the school year and is based at Maplewood Elementary, with hours from 9:00 am to 4:25 pm. The role is immediately available.
Key Qualifications:
- Active RBT certification, required
- Prior experience working in schools and with behavioral needs
- Comfortable in an autism classroom environment
- Flexibility to adapt to changing assignments or classroom settings during the contract
- Must complete fingerprinting specific to Missouri school districts (candidate responsible for fee)
- Able to work collaboratively with a dynamic school team
Core Responsibilities:
- Deliver one-on-one and small group behavioral support guided by a BCBA
- Implement individualized behavior intervention plans consistently throughout the school day
- Collect and maintain accurate data on student progress and behaviors
- Foster a positive, structured, and supportive classroom environment
- Communicate effectively with teachers, staff, and behavioral specialists to support student success
- Adapt to new routines, students, or classroom placements as needed
