A contract opportunity is available for a skilled Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) with experience in educational environments. This urgent backfill position for the 26-27 school year offers the chance to work within a collaborative school-based setting providing support to students in West Springfield, MA. The assignment runs from ASAP through June 21, 2027, with a commitment of 6 hours per week.

Qualifications:

• Active Massachusetts Physical Therapist Assistant licensure (required)
• Previous PTA experience in school settings preferred

• Ability to document services clearly and promptly

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver physical therapy interventions as directed by supervising therapists
• Support the development and implementation of individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Work collaboratively with teachers, therapists, and school staff
• Maintain accurate, compliant documentation for each student
• Communicate effectively with student teams and families as needed
