Physical Therapist - School Setting in Winter Garden, FL

Take your expertise as a Physical Therapist into a dynamic educational setting, supporting students from Pre-K to 12th grade in achieving their full potential. This contract opportunity begins August 3, 2026, and runs through May 28, 2027, with flexibility to accommodate either one full-time Physical Therapist or two to three part-time professionals, depending on your preferred schedule. Your workdays will typically run from 7:30am to 4:00pm on-site, ensuring meaningful impact during the school day.

Key Qualifications & Skills:

• Valid Professional Physical Therapist license in Florida (required)
• Preferred: Experience working in K-12 schools, although all applicants with relevant skills will be considered
• Ability to provide both direct and indirect physical therapy services to students
• Strong communication and teamwork skills, comfortable working in an itinerant model serving 2-3 schools per day
• Capable of managing diverse student needs across ages and developmental levels

Role Details & Responsibilities:

• Deliver therapy services and consults for a caseload of roughly 94 students (divided between PTs and a PTA)
• Travel between assigned schools as part of an itinerant support team
• Assess, plan, and implement individualized treatment plans; collaborate with school staff and families
• Maintain compliance with school and state documentation and reporting
• Participate in two-part district onboarding and uphold professional standards throughout your assignment
