We are seeking enthusiastic Physical Therapists eager to support K-12 (including some Pre-K) students within a dynamic school setting. This contract role allows for flexibility—apply as a full-time candidate, or join as part of a team of two or three part-time professionals to cover the assignment together.
Key Qualifications:
- Active and valid Physical Therapist license for the state of Florida required
- Previous school-based experience is highly preferred, but not mandatory
- Skilled in providing both direct and indirect therapy services
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities
- Ability to manage an itinerant schedule and travel between multiple schools during the workday
- Commitment to thorough documentation and completion of all onboarding requirements
- Dedication to student support across a wide age range, including early childhood through high school
Role Highlights:
- Serve students across 35 campuses (cases divided among PTs and a PTA), typically working with 2-3 schools per day
- Support a caseload of approximately 94 students, collaborating with colleagues for balanced workload
- Deliver essential physical therapy services empowering students to succeed in their school environment
- Adhere to established protocols for onboarding, credentialing, and timesheet submission
- On-site presence required to ensure integrated, hands-on services
