School-Based Physical Therapist - Rosenberg, Texas

Step into an impactful role supporting students across multiple campuses in the Houston area with your expertise as a Physical Therapist, or as a highly experienced Physical Therapist Assistant. This full-time, on-site contract runs through the 2026-27 school year, offering the chance to collaborate with another skilled professional while serving a diverse K–12 student population.

Your day will start from a district office “home base” before traveling to schools on the southwest side of Houston. An average day might run from 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM or 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, according to your assigned campuses. The caseload, thoughtfully divided between two PTs, includes approximately 160 students (with 50 receiving direct services), ensuring you make a lasting difference throughout the district.

Key Qualifications:

• Valid and active Texas PT license; experienced PTAs with a strong pediatric or school background are welcome
• Comfortable working across up to 50 school sites within a large district
• Prior experience with K–12 or pediatric caseloads preferred
• Familiarity with documentation systems such as Frontline and SuccessEd a plus
• Must pass state-mandated fingerprinting and background checks
• Candidates cannot have been previously employed by this district or have prior termination from any school district (verification required)

Responsibilities:

• Deliver specialized PT services to students from kindergarten through high school
• Maintain timely and accurate student records and support compliance with all documentation requirements
• Travel between campuses, offering services and consultations to faculty, staff, and families
• Collaborate actively with school teams and co-manage caseload with a fellow PT
