School-Based Physical Therapist - Orland Park, Illinois

Qualifications & Experience:

• Valid Physical Therapy license in the state of Illinois
• Experience providing PT services in a school environment preferred
• Strong understanding of pediatric physical therapy interventions
• Excellent communication skills for collaborating with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
• Ability to develop and implement IEP goals tailored to student needs
• Energy, adaptability, and a passion for supporting children in academic settings

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess students to determine physical therapy needs and develop individualized treatment plans
• Deliver direct therapy services to students in accordance with IEP/504 plans
• Educate staff and families on strategies to support motor development and mobility in the school setting
• Document therapy sessions, monitor progress, and adjust interventions as necessary
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and other professionals to create inclusive learning environments
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise to planning and goal setting
