School-Based Physical Therapist - Clermont, FL

Make a meaningful impact supporting students as a dedicated Physical Therapist for the upcoming school year! This on-site contract opportunity offers the flexibility to accommodate either one full-time physical therapist or a team of two to three part-time professionals who are passionate about helping K-12 students thrive.

You will work as part of a collaborative team to deliver both direct and indirect physical therapy services across a network of local schools—typically providing care in two to three schools each day. The caseload is thoughtfully divided among another PT and a PTA, giving you the resources and support you need while serving approximately 94 students (including some Pre-K). Desired Qualifications:

• Current and valid FL Physical Therapist License required
• Strong preference for candidates with previous school-based physical therapy experience
• Ability to manage an itinerant caseload across multiple school sites
• Passion for working with K-12 (and some Pre-K) students
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Comfort with direct and indirect student services in a multidisciplinary setting

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide physical therapy services, both direct and consultative, to students in a school-based setting
• Develop and update individualized treatment plans in compliance with IEPs
• Coordinate effectively with other therapists, teachers, and families
• Travel between assigned schools each day
• Complete timely documentation and collaborate in meetings as needed
• Participate in required onboarding and credentialing; complete necessary district paperwork
