Instructional Assistant - Osseo, MN

Support classrooms and enrich the educational experience for students by bringing your expertise as a dedicated paraprofessional. This is a contract position serving the 2026-2027 school year, with immediate openings running through early June 2027. You’ll be part of a supportive and energetic team, working approximately 33.75 hours each week in a mix of resource and center-based classroom settings.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Minimum of one year working as a paraprofessional in a school environment
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Satisfy one of the following pathways: • Completed at least two years of college-level coursework (roughly 60 semester credits) • Hold an associate degree or higher • Earn a passing score on an approved assessment (ParaPro: 455+ or ParaEducator: 65% on Instructional Support, 70% on Knowledge and Application)
• Reliable, collaborative, and committed to fostering an inclusive learning atmosphere

Key Responsibilities:

• Support certified educators in both resource and center-based classrooms
• Assist students individually or in small groups to reinforce learning concepts and build confidence
• Help implement individualized education plans (IEPs) under the direction of supervising staff
• Support classroom management and organization, ensuring a positive and structured environment for all students
• Facilitate communication between students, staff, and families as needed
