This assignment, located onsite near Hockessin, DE, offers the chance to make a meaningful impact within a welcoming elementary school environment. You'll be engaged in a 60-day assignment, working Monday through Friday for a total of 35 hours per week with a 30-minute unpaid lunch.

Desired Qualifications:

• Active Delaware Paraeducator Permit required (permit must be in hand; pending status accepted only with DEEDS portal screenshot – attach both the permit and your resume when applying)
• Experience working as a paraprofessional or in a similar school-based support role
• Familiarity with early childhood education and programmatic classroom support
• Willingness to pay for the $85 CBC fingerprinting requirement
• Strong communication, reliability, and collaboration skills
• If RBT-certified, please be aware that BCBA supervision must be arranged outside of school hours by the candidate

Role Responsibilities:

• Provide direct support and assistance to Kindergarten classrooms across the school
• Assist in implementing classroom routines, group activities, and specialized instructional programs
• Engage positively with students, reinforcing positive behavior and a supportive learning environment
• Collaborate with teachers and special education staff to promote student success
• Maintain accurate documentation as requested by school staff or administration
