Four paraprofessionals are needed for both 1:1 and classroom roles throughout the upcoming academic year. Located near Exeter, NH, these positions provide hands-on experience working alongside dedicated educational professionals.
As a paraprofessional, you’ll collaborate closely with teachers and specialists to help students thrive—both academically and personally. Your previous experience in a school setting will allow you to support students with diverse needs and contribute to a positive learning atmosphere.
Ideal candidates bring compassion, reliability, and flexibility to each day. No additional certifications or higher education are required, but proof of a high school diploma is necessary. Reference checks are a key part of the hiring process; please be prepared to provide three completed references, including your most recent manager, prior to interviewing.
Key Qualifications:
- Experience working in a school environment as a paraprofessional (required)
- High school diploma (proof required)
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Compassionate with a student-centered approach
- Ability to collaborate effectively in classroom settings
- Capable of following educational plans and supporting classroom instruction
Responsibilities:
- Provide 1:1 support to students with varying needs
- Assist in whole-classroom activities under teacher direction
- Support students’ individual learning and behavioral goals
- Facilitate a safe, inclusive, and supportive atmosphere
- Communicate effectively with teachers, staff, and students
