Teacher's Aide - Elk River, Minnesota

This contract opportunity begins as soon as possible and runs through June 3, 2027, offering a consistent weekly schedule of 33.75 hours.

Key Qualifications:

• Minimum of one year of paraprofessional experience in a school environment
• High school diploma or GED required
• Completion of one of the following:
  • At least two years of college coursework (60+ semester credits),
  • Associate degree or higher,
  • Passing score on an approved skills assessment such as the ParaPro (455+) or ParaEducator (65% Instructional Support/70% Knowledge Application)
• Strong ability to support students and educators in classroom settings
• Adaptable, dependable, and committed to student success

What You’ll Do:

• Assist teachers and special education staff in delivering instruction and personalized support
• Foster a positive and inclusive atmosphere for all students
• Support students individually and in small groups to reinforce lesson plans
• Aid in classroom management and maintain a safe environment
• Collaborate with school staff and follow provided educational plans
• Help with recordkeeping, instructional materials, and basic administrative duties
