Instructional Assistant - Anoka, MN

You’ll provide vital instructional and behavioral support in both resource and center-based classroom settings, collaborating daily with educators and specialists. Desired Skills & Experience:
- Minimum of one year of paraprofessional experience in a school setting.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Must meet at least one qualification pathway:
• Two years of college credits (60 semester credits or more) from an accredited institution,
• Associate degree or higher, or
• Achieved a passing score on the ParaPro Assessment (minimum score of 455) or ParaEducator exams (65% Instructional Support, 70% Knowledge and Application). - Strong interpersonal skills and ability to foster positive relationships with students and staff.
- Flexibility to support both resource and center-based caseloads.
Responsibilities:
- Assist teachers with instructional activities and reinforce learning objectives.
- Support students with academic, social, and behavioral needs in various classroom settings.
- Implement accommodations and modifications as outlined in student plans.
- Supervise students during transitions, lunch, recess, or other activities as assigned.
- Maintain a positive, inclusive, and productive classroom environment.
