A dynamic opportunity awaits for a licensed Occupational Therapist to support students within a specialized school setting near Saint Peters, MO. This contract assignment starts on October 14, 2026 and is anticipated through January 29, 2027, providing coverage for a 12-week FMLA leave – with potential for extension depending on staffing needs. Key Qualifications:
- Current and active Occupational Therapist (OT) license in Missouri.
- Prior experience in school-based or pediatric OT settings preferred.
- Ability to complete all district-specific credentialing (including fingerprinting and submission of TCN).
- Comfortable signing and submitting necessary technology-related forms.
- Adaptability to serve at one or more school sites as assigned.
- Strong communication skills and collaborative approach to working with educators, students, and families.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver evidence-based OT services to students as outlined in their IEPs.
- Assess student needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Collaborate with classroom teachers and other service providers to ensure holistic support for students.
- Maintain thorough documentation, progress reports, and participate in IEP meetings.
- Provide recommendations for assistive devices or modifications as necessary.
- Flexibility to adjust caseload as school assignments are determined.
