Occupational Therapist School Setting - Nashua, NH
Make a difference during the 2026-2027 academic year by supporting students across elementary and high school settings as a skilled occupational therapist. In this contract, school-based role, you’ll work closely with dedicated teams to help learners thrive and reach their full potential. The assignment extends from September 1st to June 15th and offers full-time hours (31 hours per week) in a dynamic, itinerant setting.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid occupational therapy license in New Hampshire (or eligibility for licensure)
- Previous school-based OT experience preferred (elementary and/or high school)
- Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, administrators, and families
- Strong communication and time-management skills
- Adaptable to changing needs and caseload assignments
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct therapy services to students in line with IEP goals
- Assess, document, and report on student progress
- Travel between assigned elementary and high school buildings as part of your weekly rotation
- Collaborate with educational teams to develop and modify intervention strategies
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute professional insights
- Adjust to evolving caseload details and assignments as they are finalized throughout the school year
- Offer expert guidance and resources to help create supportive learning environments
