Key Qualifications:

• Active teaching license and Professional Educator License (PEL) required (substitute licensure not accepted)
• Health Science endorsement preferred (or similar credentials in chemistry, anatomy, or general science)
• Experience delivering engaging science instruction at the junior high or middle school level is highly valued
• Strong classroom management skills and a genuine interest in student development and wellness
• Excellent communication skills with students, parents, and colleagues

Role Responsibilities:

• Teach health science curriculum to junior high students, fostering critical thinking and a love for science
• Prepare and implement lesson plans aligned with current standards and student needs
• Assess student progress and adapt instruction for varying abilities
• Maintain an organized and inclusive classroom environment
• Collaborate with fellow educators to enhance the overall learning experience
• Communicate regularly with families and school staff to support student achievement

• Onsite position (remote or virtual not available)
