Mathematics Gen Ed Teacher - Destrehan, Louisiana

Qualifications & Preferred Experience:

• Current Louisiana Math Educator Certificate authorizing instruction at high school grade levels
• Prior experience teaching Algebra I or similar math subjects strongly preferred
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Education or Mathematics
• Proven classroom management skills and ability to foster a positive learning environment
• Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
• Organized, dependable, and able to adapt to technology or curriculum updates

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive Algebra I instruction to high school students, following established curriculum
• Develop lesson plans tailored to student needs and learning goals
• Monitor student progress and provide regular feedback and support
• Maintain accurate records, including grades, attendance, and assessments
