Educational Diagnostician Special Education Teacher - Keller, TX

This opportunity runs from your start date through May 21, 2027, offering a full-time schedule of 35 hours weekly (7 hours per day). Expect an itinerant assignment between two schools within the district, focused on collaborating closely with educators and families to shape students' pathways to success. This role involves on-site work only; remote options are not available.

Key qualifications to thrive in this setting:

• Master's degree required
• Valid Texas classroom teaching certificate
• Minimum three years of full-time classroom teaching experience
• Successful completion of the Texas state certification exam for educational diagnosticians
• Previous direct experience in a school-based setting
• Eligibility to meet all credentialing standards, including completion of fingerprinting

Your responsibilities in this dynamic role will include:

• Conducting evaluations, administering assessments, and interpreting results for referred students
• Writing comprehensive educational reports with actionable recommendations
• Attending and collaborating in meetings with educational teams, parents, and related service providers
• Supporting the development and monitoring of individualized education programs (IEPs)
• Providing expertise and consultation to teachers and staff regarding interventions and accommodations
• Traveling between two assigned schools within the district
