Qualifications:

• Current or eligible Indiana Exceptional Needs, Deaf and Hard of Hearing license
• Background in supporting Deaf and Hard of Hearing students in schools
• Experience delivering consultative services and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
• Strong knowledge of accommodations, assistive technology, and accessible instructional strategies
• Ability to work with a flexible caseload across a variety of grade levels (K-12)
• Adaptable to in-person and/or virtual service delivery, as needed

Responsibilities:

• Provide expert consultation to teachers and staff regarding best practices and strategies for Deaf/Hard of Hearing students
• Collaborate in developing IEP goals, accommodations, and classroom modifications
• Support school staff in implementing accessible materials and technology
• Conduct student observations and provide feedback to enhance academic achievement
• Attend and participate in relevant team meetings and planning sessions
• Stay current with trends and research in Deaf/Hard of Hearing education
