Two enthusiastic School Counselors are needed to provide counseling and academic guidance for students in a high school environment. This full-time contract role spans the academic year from August 31, 2026, to June 4, 2027, offering you the chance to build rapport and support students’ educational journeys throughout the school year.

What we’re looking for:
- Active Michigan education certificate with School Counselor Endorsement (required—please include your license/certifications when applying)
- Previous experience supporting high school students preferred
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Commitment to helping students achieve educational success
- Ability to collaborate with teachers, staff, and families in an academic setting
Key responsibilities:
- Provide one-on-one and group academic counseling for high school students
- Assist students with academic planning, course selection, and post-secondary options
- Support students in developing coping strategies, decision-making skills, and personal growth
- Collaborate with teachers and administration to address student needs and implement academic interventions
- Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with school and district policies
