Key Qualifications:
- Valid California Teaching Credential specific to Adapted Physical Education
- Previous experience delivering adaptive PE in school settings, preferably with itinerant responsibilities
- Strong ability to collaborate effectively with special education teams, general education staff, and families

Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized APE programs that align with students’ IEP goals
- Travel between assigned school sites, delivering hands-on instruction and support
- Assess student abilities, monitor progress, and adapt instruction as needed
- Document student growth and participate in IEP meetings as a valued team member
- Serve as a resource to classroom teachers and staff on adaptive physical activity strategies
- Ensure compliance with district, state, and federal requirements for adapted PE
This on-site position offers consistent hours (35 per week) within a dynamic city known for its diversity and innovation. Contract professionals will receive competitive pay ranging from $63 to $67 per hour during the assignment.
