We are seeking a caring and reliable nurse to provide essential care for a middle school student in Amherst, NH. This unique opportunity requires someone who is not only skilled but also patient and committed to helping a severely disabled student succeed in their education.

Responsibilities:

• Provide 1:1 care for a severely disabled, wheelchair-bound middle school student.
• Assist with toileting, changing, and other personal care needs.
• Manage and support the student's behavior in a compassionate manner.
• Ensure the student’s safety and comfort during bus rides to and from school.
• Lift and transfer the student as needed (must be able to lift over 100 pounds independently).

Qualifications:

• Must hold an active LPN license in New Hampshire.
• Prior experience working with disabled individuals is highly preferred.
• Must be caring, compassionate, and tolerant of behavior challenges.
• Must be dependable with excellent attendance, as the student heavily relies on this support.

Position Details:

• Classroom: 1:1 assignment with a middle school student.
• Hours per Week: Full-time, hours to be discussed during the interview.
