Virtual SLPs - North Carolina
We are seeking dedicated and skilled Virtual Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) to join our team. These positions can be full time or part time and involve providing speech and language therapy services to K-12 students across North Carolina in a virtual setting. The ideal candidates will be passionate about supporting students' communication needs and enhancing their academic success.
Responsibilities:
- Therapy Services: Provide individual and group speech and language therapy sessions to students using a virtual platform.
- Assessment: Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments to identify students' needs and develop appropriate intervention plans.
- IEP Development: Participate in the development and implementation of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students receiving speech and language services.
- Progress Monitoring: Regularly monitor and document student progress, adjusting intervention strategies as needed.
- Collaboration: Work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to support student success.
- Communication: Maintain open and effective communication with students, parents, and staff regarding student progress and needs.
- Compliance: Ensure all services are delivered in compliance with state and federal regulations and guidelines.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Valid North Carolina state licensure or certification in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA preferred.
- Previous experience working with children and adolescents in a school setting.
- Proficiency with virtual communication tools and technology.
- Strong understanding of speech and language development, disorders, and best practices in therapy.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage a remote caseload effectively.
- Must be able to provide general liability insurance.
