Job Title: Special Education Teacher (Traveling Substitute)
Location: Multiple Locations (Jefferson, Jackson, and Sandburg Schools)
Position Type: Full-Time, In-Person
Start Date: ASAP
End Date: May 23, 2025

Position Overview:

• Grade Level: K-5 instructional classrooms.
• Caseload: Covering 6 instructional classrooms across 3 schools, providing support during teachers plan periods.
• Schedule: Consistent classrooms and schedule throughout the year, with daily travel to each school.
• Weekly Hours: Guaranteed full-time (35 hours/week) with a 30-minute paid lunch.

Qualifications:

• Must hold an active LBS1 certification as students will be in their self-contained special education classrooms during the substitute periods.
• Experience working with K-5 special education students preferred.
