Are you passionate about supporting students with diverse learning needs? We’re seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher for the 2023-2024 school year to work with an elementary caseload in Janesville, WI. Join a collaborative team and help K-12 students reach their full potential!

Position Details:

• Location: On-site in Janesville, WI
• Caseload: Elementary, K-12 students (18-25 students)
• Disability Type: Cross Categorical
• Schedule: 37.5 hours per week (40 hours on-site with a 30-minute unpaid lunch)
• Daily Hours: 7:30 AM – 3:30 PM
• Start Date: ASAP
• End Date: June 10, 2025

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Provide direct instruction in small group and 1:1 settings
• Collaborate with general education teachers, specialists, and families
• Monitor and document progress toward IEP goals
• Create an inclusive and supportive classroom environment

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Special Education
• Valid Wisconsin Special Education Teacher certification (or eligibility to obtain)
• Experience with cross-categorical caseloads preferred
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
