Speech Language Pathologist – Topeka, Kansas (2025-2026 School Year)

We’re looking for a full-time Speech Language Pathologist to join a dynamic school team in Topeka, Kansas for the 2025-2026 school year. Responsibilities:

Identify students with communication impairments and collaborate with educational staff.
Develop and implement instructional and curricular modifications for speech and language goals.
Provide materials to promote communication development for educators and families.
Participate in IEP development and implement related services.
Maintain a caseload intervention schedule, including direct and indirect services, screenings, and evaluations.
Supervise para-educators and mentor new SLPs.
Participate in building committees, in-service training, and complete required special education paperwork, including IEPs and Medicaid billing.

Qualifications:

Master’s Degree in Speech Language Pathology.
Current license issued by the Kansas Department of Health and Environment.
School-based SLP experience preferred but not required.
Ability to work with a caseload of 60-65 students.

Position Details:

Classroom: K-12, general education and special education students
Hours per Week: Full-Time, 37.5 hours
Weekly Pay: Competitive salary, based on experience
Caseload: 60-65 students
