Speech Language Pathologist – Topeka, Kansas (2025-2026 School Year)

We’re looking for a full-time Speech Language Pathologist to join a dynamic school team in Topeka, Kansas for the 2025-2026 school year. Responsibilities:
- Identify students with communication impairments and collaborate with educational staff.
- Develop and implement instructional and curricular modifications for speech and language goals.
- Provide materials to promote communication development for educators and families.
- Participate in IEP development and implement related services.
- Maintain a caseload intervention schedule, including direct and indirect services, screenings, and evaluations.
- Supervise para-educators and mentor new SLPs.
- Participate in building committees, in-service training, and complete required special education paperwork, including IEPs and Medicaid billing.
Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree in Speech Language Pathology.
- Current license issued by the Kansas Department of Health and Environment.
- School-based SLP experience preferred but not required.
- Ability to work with a caseload of 60-65 students.
Position Details:
- Classroom: K-12, general education and special education students
- Hours per Week: Full-Time, 37.5 hours
- Weekly Pay: Competitive salary, based on experience
- Caseload: 60-65 students
