This position offers variety with a small district caseload spread across 2-3 schools. You’ll provide essential speech and language services to a wide range of students in a supportive environment. Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language services district-wide, with 2-3 school locations.
- Offer services to students across all age groups, ensuring individualized care and support.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other staff to develop and implement IEPs.
- Manage speech and language assessments, progress monitoring, and goal development.
- Handle TN Medicaid billing (experience preferred).
- Travel between schools (all within 5-10 miles).
Qualifications:
- Active SLP License required in Tennessee.
- Must be comfortable working with all age groups (from Pre-K to high school).
- Prior experience with the Tennessee Medicaid billing system is a plus.
- Reliable and comfortable with school-based travel (within a 5-10 mile radius).
- Strong communication and collaborative skills.
Position Details:
- Classroom: District-wide (2-3 schools, all within a 5-10 mile radius).
- Hours per Week: Full-Time (30-37.5 hours per week).
- Weekly Pay: Competitive, based on experience.
- Benefits: Comprehensive package including Dental, Medical, Vision, and 401K.
- Contract Duration: August 5th, 2024 - May 23rd, 2025, with an option to extend for the 2024-2025 school year.
