School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) – Olympia, WA
Start Date: ASAP | End Date: June 17, 2025 | Onsite Only

We’re looking for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join a school district in Olympia, Washington! This is an exciting opportunity to provide specialized services for a student enrolled in a private school. You’ll work closely to support communication needs, with a focus on social cognition, language, problem-solving, and emotional regulation.

Responsibilities:

• Provide 15 minutes weekly of SLP therapy for one student.
• Spend 30 minutes weekly for planning and prep.
• Complete 30-minute quarterly progress notes for 4 remaining quarters.
• Conduct 3 hours of IEP work.
• Double up on therapy sessions to catch up, due to missed services earlier in the year.

Qualifications:

• Active Washington State SLP License required.
• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
• Experience or training in social cognition, social language, problem-solving, and emotional regulation.

Position Details:

Classroom: Private School Setting (1 student)
Hours per Week: Flexible, as outlined in the IEP plan
Weekly Pay: Competitive and based on experience

Contract Duration: ASAP – June 17, 2025, with potential to extend.
