Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) Opportunity
Location: New Braunfels, TX
Position Type: Full-time / Part-time
Duration: Starting ASAP through the End of School Year 2025
Position Overview:
We’re excited to welcome a compassionate and motivated Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) to our team in New Braunfels, TX. In this role, you’ll partner with a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to provide targeted support to students, helping them develop essential communication skills and reach their full potential in both academic and social settings.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver therapy sessions focused on articulation, language, and fluency under the direction of an SLP.
- Implement therapeutic activities that align with each student’s unique goals.
- Monitor and document student progress, regularly communicating updates to the supervising SLP.
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and support staff to ensure cohesive support for each student.
- Prepare therapy materials and adjust session activities to fit student needs.
Qualifications:
- Associate’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology Assisting or a related field.
- Active Texas SLPA license or eligibility for certification.
- Experience working with children in a school or therapy setting (preferred).
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
