Full-Time Special Education Teacher – Lawrence, Massachusetts

We’re looking for a Special Education Teacher to join our team in Lawrence, Massachusetts! This full-time role offers the opportunity to work with grades 3-4 across two CDCPS campuses. Responsibilities:

• Provide specialized instruction for students in grades 3-4 with moderate disabilities.
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students in your caseload.
• Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student growth.
• Monitor and assess student progress, making adjustments as needed.
• Travel between two campuses within Lawrence, MA (onsite only).

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Special Education (or related field).
• Certification: Valid Moderate Disabilities License (PreK-8) through the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education.
• Clearances: Must complete fingerprinting and CORI check (BRC required).
• Experience with a caseload of students with moderate disabilities is preferred.

Position Details:

• Classroom: Grades 3-4
• Hours per Week: 40 hours per week (7:45 AM - 4:00 PM)
• Weekly Pay: Competitive, based on experience.

• Contract Duration: ASAP – June 18, 2025, with potential to extend.
