Core Responsibilities:

• Adapt lessons and teaching methods to accommodate various learning styles.
• Regularly evaluate student progress and adjust instructional strategies to maximize growth.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including parents, teachers, and support staff, to deliver comprehensive educational support.
• Ensure compliance with Alabama state and federal special education guidelines.
• Provide targeted individual and small group instruction.
• Create an inclusive and positive classroom environment that promotes learning and development.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Special Education or a related field.
• Active Alabama Special Education Teacher certification.
• Prior experience working with students with mild to moderate disabilities is preferred.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• A patient, flexible, and creative approach to education.
