Responsibilities:

  • Create and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students.
  • Provide tailored instruction to students with special needs.
  • Work closely with parents, staff, and other specialists to ensure student success.
  • Monitor and track student progress and adjust teaching methods as necessary.

Qualifications:

  • Active Kentucky Special Education Teaching License.
  • Previous school-based experience required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Special Education (Master’s preferred).

Position Details:

  • Classroom: Full-Time teaching position in a supportive school environment.
  • Hours per Week: 40 hours per week.
  • Weekly Pay: Competitive, based on experience.

Benefits: Comprehensive benefits package, including Dental, Medical, Vision, and 401K.

Contract Duration: Current school year with the option to extend for summer school and the 2024-2025 school year.
