Join Our Team: Special Education Teacher (LLD Classroom) - Washington, NJ

Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of students with special needs? We're seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher to fill a long-term substitute position in Washington, NJ. You’ll be working with 1st to 3rd grade students in a Low Incidence Disabilities (LLD) classroom, providing specialized support and individualized instruction.

Responsibilities:

• Provide tailored instruction to students with learning disabilities.
• Collaborate with classroom staff and parents to ensure students’ success.
• Implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and monitor student progress.

Qualifications:

• Valid Special Education teaching license in New Jersey (or eligibility).
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Special Education.
• Experience working with elementary-aged students preferred.

Position Details:

• Classroom: LLD (1st – 3rd grade students)
• Hours per Week: Full-Time, 8:40am – 3:40pm, Monday – Friday (following district calendar)
• Weekly Pay: Competitive pay based on experience and qualifications

Contract Duration: Start date: February 7, 2025; End date TBD with the option to extend through summer school and into the 2024-2025 school year.
