Hours: Full-Time, 40 hours per week
Caseload: Resource teacher supporting students with IEPs (K-8)

We’re looking for an enthusiastic educator with a valid Michigan teaching certificate.

Responsibilities:

• Support students with IEPs across a range of disabilities (K-8)
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Provide resource support in academic and behavioral areas
• Collaborate with general education teachers to ensure student success
• Monitor student progress and adjust instructional strategies as needed
• Participate in IEP meetings and work with families to develop goals

Qualifications:

• Valid Michigan Standard or Professional Certificate
• Endorsement in one of the following areas:
  • Cognitive Impairment
  • Speech & Language Impairment
  • Physical or Other Health Impairment
  • Emotional Impairment
  • Learning Disabilities
  • Physical Education for Students with Disabilities
  • Autism
• Experience working with students with disabilities and IEPs (preferred)
• Strong communication and teamwork skills

Position Details:

• Classroom: K-8, resource teacher supporting students with IEPs
• Hours per Week: Full-Time, 40 hours
• Weekly Pay: Competitive, based on experience

• Contract Duration: ASAP - June 6, 2025, with potential to extend
