Special Education Teacher – Fredericksburg, VA
Position: Full-Time | Grades: High School | Location: Two High School Campuses
Start Date: ASAP | End Date: Current school year, with potential for extension

We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Special Education Teacher to work with high school students with learning disabilities across two campuses in Fredericksburg, VA. Responsibilities:

• Provide specialized instruction to high school students with learning disabilities.
• Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs).
• Collaborate with general education teachers to ensure students’ success.
• Maintain progress reports and required documentation.
• Support students in both classroom and small group settings.

Qualifications:

• Must hold a Virginia Special Education Certification.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Special Education or a related field.
• Experience working with high school students with learning disabilities is preferred.

Position Details:

• Classroom: High School, Learning Disabilities
• Hours per Week: Full-Time
• Weekly Pay: Competitive salary
• Benefits: Comprehensive package including Dental, Medical, Vision, and 401K plan.
• Contract Duration: Current school year with potential to extend for summer school or the 2024-2025 school year.
• On-Site Only: Position requires onsite attendance at two high school campuses.
