Special Education Teacher – School-Based (Detroit, MI) – 2024/2025 School Year

Responsibilities:

• Provide individualized instruction and support to high school students with special needs.
• Develop and implement IEPs (Individualized Education Plans).
• Foster academic, social, and emotional growth for each student.
• Collaborate with other teachers, staff, and parents to ensure students' success.

Qualifications:

• Michigan Special Education certification required.
• Experience in high school special education is preferred.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Special Education or related field.

Position Details:

• Classroom: High School (about 13-14 students).
• Hours per Week: Full-Time or Part-Time available.
• Weekly Pay: Competitive, based on experience.
