Are you passionate about empowering students with special needs? We are seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher to support high school students (Grades 9-12) in a resource setting. Enjoy a supportive environment, manageable caseloads, and an opportunity to impact lives!

Position Highlights:

• Average Caseload: 10-15 students
• Classroom Setting: Primarily in general education with minimal pull-out support
• Hours: 37.5 hours per week, approximately 7:30 AM - 3:00 PM
• Contract Duration: August 23, 2024 - June 13, 2025, with options to extend for summer school and beyond

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Collaborate with general education teachers to support student inclusion
• Monitor student progress and adjust strategies as needed

Qualifications:

• License: Maryland State Certification in Special Education
• Degree: Bachelor's or Master's in Special Education or related field
