Position Available: Special Education Teacher

Location: Saint Paul, MN

Contract Dates: August 28, 2024 – June 5, 2025

Hours: Full-Time, 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM – 3:30 PM

Caseload: K-12

Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:

• Individualized Instruction: Design and deliver personalized educational plans tailored to the needs of each student.
• Support and Inclusion: Foster a supportive classroom atmosphere that encourages the growth and development of all students.
• Compliance: Adhere to all requirements under the Individual with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA) and Minnesota state statutes.
• Collaboration: Work closely with building staff, families, community partners, and students to ensure a cohesive and effective educational experience.

Qualifications:

• Licensing: Valid Minnesota teaching license in a Special Education field.
• Experience: Experience in special education and working with a diverse K-12 student population is preferred.
• Skills: Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
