Position Highlights:

• Location: Jefferson, ME
• Classroom: K-12 students
• Hours per Week: 40 hours (Full-time)
• Onsite Only

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with special needs.
• Provide direct support to students, helping them overcome academic and personal challenges.
• Collaborate with other teachers and staff to ensure students' progress and development.
• Maintain student records, conduct assessments, and modify teaching strategies as necessary.

Qualifications:

• Required: Valid Special Education Teaching License in Maine.
• Bachelor’s degree in Special Education (Master’s preferred).
• Experience working with K-12 students in a special education setting is a plus.
