Position Overview:
We are looking for a dedicated and licensed Special Education Teacher to join our team in Elgin, IL. This position involves providing support to a diverse caseload of K-8th grade students with mild to moderate disabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and oversee Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) for students.
• Collaborate with educators, families, and staff to promote student success.
• Deliver both direct and indirect instruction tailored to each student’s unique needs.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation using appropriate systems.
• Participate actively in team meetings and contribute to the development of strategies to enhance student outcomes.

Qualifications:

• Active Illinois State Board of Education (ISBE) Special Education License or certification.
• Strong communication and organizational abilities.
• Previous experience in a special education setting, preferably with K-8 students.
