Special Education Teacher (SPED) – Beloit, WI (Near IL Border)

Are you passionate about empowering students with diverse learning needs? We’re seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher for the 2023-2024 school year to support an elementary caseload in Beloit, WI. Join a supportive team and help K-12 students achieve their full potential!

Position Details:

• Location: On-site in Beloit, WI (near the IL border)
• Caseload: Elementary, K-12 students (18-25 students)
• Disability Type: Cross Categorical
• Schedule: 37.5 hours per week (40 hours on-site, with a 30-minute unpaid lunch)
• Daily Hours: 7:30 AM – 3:30 PM
• Start Date: ASAP
• End Date: June 10, 2025

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement IEPs tailored to each student’s needs
• Provide direct instruction and support in small group or 1:1 settings
• Collaborate with general education teachers, specialists, and families
• Monitor and document student progress toward IEP goals
• Foster an inclusive and positive learning environment

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Special Education
• Valid Wisconsin Special Education Teacher certification (or eligibility to obtain)
• Experience with cross-categorical caseloads preferred
• Strong collaboration and communication skills
