Bilingual Therapies is looking for a passionate and experienced Special Education Teacher for the 2024-2025 school year in the Bakersfield, CA area. We seek a teacher who is dedicated to helping students with diverse needs thrive in an inclusive and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and customize individualized education programs (IEPs) that cater to the unique needs of each student.
• Partner with general education teachers, support teams, and families to ensure student achievement.
• Deliver specialized instruction and support to students with disabilities.
• Assess and monitor student progress, adjusting instructional methods as necessary.
• Maintain compliance with state and federal documentation and record-keeping requirements.

Requirements:

• Must possess a valid California Special Education Teaching License.
• Experience in working with students who have a range of disabilities.
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
• Flexibility in adapting teaching strategies to meet diverse learner needs.
