Spanish Bilingual SLP Needed in Illinois

Bilingual Therapies is currently seeking a Spanish-speaking Bilingual Speech Language Pathologist to join our team in West Chicago, IL. This full-time position primarily focuses on an elementary caseload with mild to moderate speech and language challenges. The role includes working in a dual-language program with Spanish-speaking population.
 

Key Duties:

• Provide targeted speech and language therapy
• Assess speech and language needs and craft individualized therapy plans tailored to student needs
• Conduct therapy sessions, both individual and group, to enhance students' communication skills.
• Partner with educators, families, and support staff to align therapy goals with classroom activities and broader educational objectives.
• Engage in the development and evaluation of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students needing specialized speech and language services.
• Address the needs of students in dual-language classrooms.

Requirements:

• Certification: Licensed Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in Illinois + Professional Educator License (PEL)
• Experience: School-based experience preferred
• Language Capability: Proficiency in Spanish and ability to support culturally and linguistically diverse students.
