Position Overview:
We are seeking a compassionate and experienced School Social Worker to join our team in Joliet, IL. In this role, you will provide vital support to students by addressing social, emotional, and behavioral needs. Your efforts will help create a positive learning environment and promote student success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver individual and group counseling services to students.
  • Conduct assessments to identify student needs and develop targeted support plans.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and staff to resolve challenges impacting student learning.
  • Provide crisis intervention and support as needed.
  • Maintain detailed records of student services and progress.
  • Foster an inclusive and supportive school environment.

Requirements:

  • Master’s degree in Social Work.
  • Active Illinois School Social Worker license or Professional Educator License (PEL).
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Prior school-based experience is preferred but not required.
