Sign Language Interpreter Teacher – Full-Time Opportunity in St. Paul, MN

Responsibilities:

• Provide sign language interpretation for students in classrooms, meetings, and other school settings
• Work closely with teachers to ensure students' educational needs are met
• Offer district-wide support for students who require sign language services
• Foster an inclusive environment where students feel empowered to communicate
• Assist with interpreting during meetings, lessons, and extracurricular activities

Qualifications:

• AA, AS, or AAS degree; or 60 credits of post-secondary coursework; or a passing ParaPro score with a diploma/GED required
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a related field preferred
• Previous experience as a sign language interpreter in an educational setting is a plus

Position Details:

• Classroom: District-wide support for multiple schools
• Hours per Week: 37.5 hours
• Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:30 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.
• Weekly Pay: Competitive pay based on experience
• Benefits: Comprehensive package including Dental, Medical, Vision, and 401K
• Contract Duration: ASAP - June 5, 2025
