School Speech Language Pathologist - Spring Lake, North Carolina

This contract opportunity, based near Spring Lake, NC, offers the chance to support PreK-12 learners, working within a dedicated educational team for the 2026-2027 school year. Multiple positions are anticipated, including an immediate need at the elementary level.
Key Qualifications:
- Active North Carolina Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license required
- Clinical Certificate of Competence (CCC) strongly preferred; CFs and SLPAs also considered
- At least one year of previous experience in school-based settings is highly recommended
- Strong ability to collaborate with teachers, parents, and other multi-disciplinary team members
- Commitment to providing onsite services in accordance with district needs
- Effective communication and organizational skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive assessment, intervention, and therapy services to students with a variety of speech and language needs
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in coordination with special education staff
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with school and state policies
- Participate in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and team consultations
- Provide support and guidance for students’ communication development across learning environments
- Serve as a resource for teachers and school personnel on speech and language concerns
