Positions are open for contract SLPs to provide dedicated services throughout the academic year. With multiple roles anticipated, you’ll be part of a collaborative team supporting elementary-aged students onsite.

Key Qualifications & Experience:

  • Active NC Speech-Language Pathologist license required
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellow (CF) status, or SLPA credentials accepted
  • Prior experience working in school settings is strongly preferred
  • Proficiency in assessment, intervention planning, and individualized service delivery
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills with educators and families

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct therapy and support to students in accordance with IEP goals
  • Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments
  • Collaborate with teachers, families, and support staff to optimize student outcomes
  • Maintain thorough and timely documentation of services and progress
  • Advocate for students’ communication needs within the school community
  • Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations governing speech-language services

Role Details & Structure:

  • Full-time, 37.5 hours per week for the duration of the school year (August – May)
  • Multiple openings may be available, including an immediate need at an elementary school campus
  • All services are to be provided exclusively onsite; teletherapy is not an option for this role
