Positions are open for contract SLPs to provide dedicated services throughout the academic year. With multiple roles anticipated, you’ll be part of a collaborative team supporting elementary-aged students onsite.

Key Qualifications & Experience:

Active NC Speech-Language Pathologist license required
ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellow (CF) status, or SLPA credentials accepted
Prior experience working in school settings is strongly preferred
Proficiency in assessment, intervention planning, and individualized service delivery
Strong communication and collaboration skills with educators and families

Primary Responsibilities:

Provide direct therapy and support to students in accordance with IEP goals
Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments
Collaborate with teachers, families, and support staff to optimize student outcomes
Maintain thorough and timely documentation of services and progress
Advocate for students’ communication needs within the school community
Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations governing speech-language services

Role Details & Structure:

Full-time, 37.5 hours per week for the duration of the school year (August – May)
Multiple openings may be available, including an immediate need at an elementary school campus
All services are to be provided exclusively onsite; teletherapy is not an option for this role
