Join Our Team as a School Counselor/Play Therapist in Dallas, Texas!

Are you a compassionate Licensed Professional Counselor or Licensed Family and Marriage Therapist with a passion for helping children? We’re looking for a skilled School Counselor/Play Therapist to support our students during a MAT leave. If you have experience in play therapy and enjoy working with kids, this is the perfect opportunity for you!

Position Highlights:

  • Employment Type: Contract (MAT Leave) from January 7 to March 4
  • Hours: 14 hours per week for individual sessions + 2 hours per week for group sessions
    • Group 1: 4 primary age children
    • Group 2: 4 elementary age children
  • Orientation: Scheduled for the weeks of December 2 and December 9 (pick two days from Monday to Thursday, 9 AM - 11:30 AM)

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct individual and group play therapy sessions
  • Develop and implement therapeutic strategies tailored to children’s needs
  • Collaborate with educational staff to create a supportive environment

Qualifications:

  • Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in Texas
  • Experience in play therapy with children
